Fablematics1. Using Fablematics
Fablematics is operated by Taoftware LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms apply to this website and the Fablematics app and services we make available. The Privacy Policy explains our information practices. A person creating an account or completing a purchase must be an adult parent or guardian, or otherwise legally able to enter this agreement.
The website currently offers a playable preview. App downloads and paid checkout are available only where an active download or checkout link is provided. A “coming soon” description is not an offer to charge you or a guarantee of a release date.
2. Parents and learners
Parents and guardians manage family accounts, purchases, permissions, and privacy requests. Children may use the learning experience under their parent’s or guardian’s supervision and with any consent required by law. A parent login or payment alone does not replace a separate notice or parental-consent step where one is required.
Use accurate parent-account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us if you believe someone is using your account without authorization. Choose a nickname for a learner rather than sharing unnecessary identifying information. Do not submit a child’s school, address, identity documents, or other sensitive details in feedback.
3. Learning and access
Fablematics provides story-led mathematics practice and optional explanations. It supplements learning and does not promise a particular grade, test result, diagnosis, or educational outcome. A visual model or hint is a learning aid; learners still choose when to check their thinking.
The designated free app sample is the Dead Air chapter from Signal Lost and its associated clues and helpers. The free sample does not require a payment card. Other chapters require a parent account and active Family Premium access. A homepage preview clue is a separate, shorter demonstration.
Family Premium includes the available story catalog for Grades 6–8 and its authored visual models and helpers. We do not include unlaunched services, live human tutoring, a guaranteed number of future stories, or unlimited AI chat in a subscription unless expressly stated at checkout. Access is for personal household use, not classroom licensing, account resale, or redistribution.
4. Subscriptions and payment
The US launch prices are $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. The annual option is billed as one yearly payment, not monthly installments. Both options include the same available Premium access. Prices may be localized by a store or country. The currency, total price, taxes, billing period, and any offer terms shown at your checkout govern the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until canceled. By explicitly completing a subscription checkout, you authorize the billing provider to collect the displayed recurring price and applicable taxes. The free sample is not an auto-renewing trial, and trying it does not start a subscription.
Web subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat Billing with Stripe processing payments. Apple and Google purchases, when available, follow their store terms and billing processes. Use the same parent account to retrieve your purchased access. Signing in on another platform does not transfer who bills you. Avoid starting another subscription when you already have an active plan.
5. Cancellation, refunds, and deletion
You can stop future renewals through the original billing provider. For a web subscription, use Manage Subscription in the app’s family settings or contact fablematics@taoftware.com for help. For Apple or Google purchases, cancel using the applicable store’s subscription settings. Follow the timing displayed by that provider and cancel before the next renewal charge.
After cancellation, access generally continues to the end of the paid period. A refund, charge reversal, or revocation may end access sooner. For web refund requests, contact us. Store-billed refund requests are handled under the applicable store process and your legal rights. Nothing here removes mandatory refund, withdrawal, or cancellation rights.
Uninstalling the app, clearing device storage, or deleting an account does not itself cancel a subscription. Cancel your subscription separately. Loss of Premium access does not by itself erase your local learning progress; clearing storage or deleting that data can.
6. Respectful use
Please do not misuse another family’s account, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce harmful code, scrape private data, or use Fablematics unlawfully. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact support.
7. Our stories and your information
We or our licensors own the app, website, artwork, stories, software, and authored learning material. We give you a limited permission to use the available content for its intended personal learning purpose. This does not transfer ownership or permit commercial copying, redistribution, or resale.
You retain any rights you have in information or feedback you provide. You give us only the permissions reasonably needed to operate the requested service, respond to feedback, and handle it as explained in the Privacy Policy. Do not send information you are not authorized to share.
8. Changes and availability
We may correct content, improve features, and update these terms. We will identify the updated date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Price changes for an existing subscription will follow the billing provider’s notice and consent requirements and applicable law.
Service interruptions and technical errors can occur. We aim to correct reported issues, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content is error-free. Contact us if you find an inaccurate or confusing clue. If a change materially affects purchased access, applicable consumer protections continue to apply.
9. Your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. This does not exclude rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded, or liability that cannot legally be limited. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Before escalating a concern, you are welcome to contact us so we can try to resolve it. This invitation does not restrict any legal remedy available to you.
